Out of curiosity, why are you so set on having a suppressor? All of the traditional lever chamberings have a lot less report/muzzle blast. While I still use hearing protection when using a 30-30 at the range, you can fire one while out hunting quite comfortably without your ears ringing, unlike a 243, 308 etc. The pistol chamberings like 44-40 are even kinder on the ears. All of these have minimal felt recoil too, so unless you're planning on poaching, the can isn't necessary.
I have tinnitus already. I don't want to make it worse. Its just how I feel about rifle noise report. I just prefer to have it suppressed.
