    What's that thread?

Old Steel gunworks can came with recent purchase, it has "21" stamped on the can. Measurements I could do was 0.06" between the tips of the threads and 0.560" Outside Diameter, any ideas? (its going on TM once worked out)

    Pretty close to 14x1.5mm thread.

Also close to a non standard Imperial of 1/16" - 16tpi. Easiest way to get a better measurement of pitch without a gauge is to wrap a bit of light coloured paper round a pencil or dowel and get an impression of the thread. Then count however many threads you see and take one off that number, then divide that by the distance between the marks you counted.
