I think rifle owners are all a bit emo and only think what they own can shoot or is worth any money. The only relevant post in this thread was mine calling maca old

Nah. I'm a tight wad and I only buy if they're cheap. Then I like to out shoot someone that has spent wads of dosh. Mind you I have been spending a bit on optics lately, well at least a step up from my usual $300-$400 bracket. As I've said, there are many brands that shoot just as well and just as reliably as the Tikka T3.

But for the same price or more.....many don't .
The market decides the price, if people are willing to pay X amount then that's fine.

Your on. Toby shoot. But mines not wads just a few rolls

Just remember, @Gibo fired and saw feathers dust off a magpie at 1335metres at the Toby shoot. He can verify this.

I think they are worth so much second hand because they are so rare and hard to come by.....

I must admit, after owning a Tikka, I want a Sako.

Funny though, after owning 2 Savage rifles, and one was a new Predator Hunter Max 1 in .223, the Tikka just feels better quality. I had all sorts of issues getting both my Savage's to feed reliably and the trigger on the Predator was very fussy about trigger pull.
They were both stupid accurate though and if it weren't for the unreliable feeding, I would still have them.

a few tikka haters on here its up to the market to decide what they sell for. that goes for any think. Look at the price off hunting dogs now. As for the cheap alloy rings none of the hundreds of deer i have shot have complain about them

I bet that when the T years comes around, a lot of bitches will be named Tikka :-)
