Thread: Where to buy

Hi guys. Just got my FAL and looking to stock the safe. Certainly will be shopping on the forum, but as far as a gun shop goes, where do you recommend? Where I live I'd be just as happy shopping in Hamilton or Auckland. Ideally a smaller family/locally owned outfit with good advice and atmosphere?

Couldn't really find a better deal. Turned up in WLG 1.5 days after ordering, direct from suppliers warehouse. Ross is great to deal with - ticks all the boxes listed above.

a different way of looking at this - small local can also mean paying more for same thing on special at larger retail- make up your mind as to what you want and then shop around - okay many younger sales people at larger chains are just that sales people but the price well that has to be considered - you need to spend a bit to get started hunting and every bit saved - shop around and haggle - but have your mind made up first

This, but my local matched a price when I asked (less the courier fee I would have had to pay otherwise) so it never hurts to ask

Identify your target beyond all doubt because you never miss (right?) and I'll be missed.

Thanks for the tips everyone. I tend to support small and local where I possibly can as I know first hand how hard things can be, and I truly believe you get the value in the long run. My own side hustle relies on local word of mouth and support!
