Hamils have discontinued it
Serious shooters are out of stock
Hunting and fishing don't care to ask if they can get the 4a so clearly don't want my money

Who else stock these in NZ?

Any hunting shop that has an account with the distributor should hop on the phone and ask if they are in stock. All the ones that are out of stock or don't continue are also able to order in for you?? Let me know and i can have a chat to someone, where you live??

@buzzman Yep I've got them looking for me. Even if it was a touch more ild buy from them, they actually give good service.

Terminator Products or 45 south will have one in the post straight away if you ask them and there in stock.
They might even add some bog paper so you can clean your lense.

amazes me how hard some places make it to get a sale from them even when they have the item in stock.

@199p yea mate always blows me away. I've worked in sales before and I was always hungry and keen to sell/make a buck.

@Danny haha yea mate. Glass is fucken top notch, pisses on that vx6 I had in terms of clarity and colour.
Bit of fish eye on low power but not off putting.
Liking the 4a Plex so far. Its a short scope on a T3 using Talleys, would have better mounting options on a short action or if using dovetail mounts.
Got work tomorrow but will be able to have a good play Sunday morning.

Is it light? Is it a 36 objective?
I need another scope soon for my next barrel. I like them Swarovski but maybe it's just me I think VX6 is very clear and light and not bulky.

Yep, specs say 340 grams, 36mm obj, work with Talley ex lows.
I've spent some time throwing the gun up to my shoulder. The eye relief is a SMIDGE shorter at 3x than 4x and above. But yep stand by my comments it's clearer than the vx6 and I want to say above hd5 (definitely better than a conquest - like much better)

The weight and balance is very nice on the tikka SL. I'm really impressed, and I'm glad I didn't go for a bigger objective. I think this set up will become a favourite.
