So what became of tuiman???
Mines used as a tomato plant stake , goes good
My workmate has one, it’s a .243AI, and was known as ‘the curse’

Oh, and another workmate brought one that had fluting so deep that the bore was distorted

what are they
Mine was good, 338 edge on Barnard action. Keep looking at trademe to see if it comes back up for sale as I would buy back
He AI'd my 7mm08 T3 and reamed a couple of dies to suit about 5 years ago and I still have it....probably wont part with it any time soon.
From memory it was a 2 week turn around and reasonably priced.
@mikee
Do Terminator Products not make good stuff?
He made some allright guns, a bloke came out to my old farm to sight in a 280ai he built.and it shot one hole groups. He also made some real lemons and was good at talking shit and dissapearing when he owed people money.
I had two. A 7mmsaum and a 7mm Rem mag.
The saum took months and a hell of drama. Then didn’t feed and had to get someone else to fix it.
The Rem mag looked terrible. Square Fluting was all over the show and skeletonised action/bolt etc looked like cheese. But I’d love it back as it shot bloody good!
Yep only good things from me, 7mm screamer was a lazer
Would love a barrel for a blazer in that cal
Have a 7mm blaser magnum improved that shoots into 1/2 inch and weighs 3.4kg all up with scope
He was helpful with a few questions re the dies he had made
Makes nice light rifles
I have a Wby MkV 284 that I bought second hand, it was originally a 7mm08 and apparently Tuiman did the gunsmith work to ream to 284. I have changed it over from original B&C Wby stock to a Stug cf job. It’s a very accurate rifle.
He put a carbon barrel on and trued a rem action for me in 2 weeks while I hunted tahr. Shot ok until I tried the 150 noslerLR now consistently shoots a one hole group if I hold it still enough
I’ve got one of his builds. Tikka 280AI – Fluted Vulcan barrel, CF stock, VX6
It will not win any ‘Miss Centrefire’ contests but it’s extremely accurate and has been my main rifle for 5 or so years now.
He was pretty good to deal with but could be slow to turn things around at times. The only thing that really pisses me off about the rifle it is the stamping of the calibre on the barrel near the action – he could have at least got the letters straight lol.
What ever happened to Abe?
He converted my t3 7m08 to 284 chopped and suppressed, did loads for me and oy was a ripper done on time , rebarreled a 700ti to 6.5x47 Vulcan barrel and it shot bloody good. Have a lot of time for Abe. He was last in Greymouth.
Last I heard he was up here in Nelson, maybe his current boss doesn't like him using his gear for perk jobs.
Maybe he cant be fucked dealing with needy gun owners.
Maybe he cant be fucked dealing with debts.
What exactly are you after?
He reamed a tikka 7mm08 out to 284 for me, years ago.
Still goes mint, no issues at all.
It's not a custom but I still have my 10/22 he converted to full over barrel carbon suppressor. Like many here took ages over 6 months at least but then he didnt charge me so was fine with that in the end

He did a bit of work for me, one was a full build and shot really well, second was teaming a 708 to 284 dropped it to him in evening while on my way south for fly in trip, got up in morning to meet chopper pilot and saw a text that it rifle was done and pics of results of test shots. Short version, used him twice. No drama
Good results
