    Interesting that a pre WW1 small ring Sporter would have a charger bridge cut and thumb cut

    Thats where the tape goes that holds the strip of tape over the muzzle.

    Gives me at least an extra 400fps as well.

    And here was me thinking it was some cunning bedding to improve accuracy
