It looks to me that even shortening and re crowning the barrel might be a waste of time after a waste of money
So don't waste any more time or money in it

And I note that was at 12 yards through a scope
I test plenty of vintage rifle barrels that look more like shotguns and have bulges and rings in the bore that shoot better than that at 50 yards with open sights and old eyes

There's a lot of reasons why this barrel shoots so badly and I suspect they are all in play with this one
