Thread: Winchester 9422 value?

Hi I have a winchester 9422 brought about 1989 by my late father.
Excellent condition and maybe maximum of 500 rounds used through it over the years and has been shortened to 10 rounds by gunsmith.
I would appreciate thoughts as to value of this gun as I am not in country so much these days and may not use it properly again.

If the mag tube has been shortened rather than restricted then I’d reckon $500. If the mag has been internally restricted with a dowel or long follower, then around $1000

TRADEME is always a great place to give an idea what market is paying.

I sold a brace of them 4-5 years ago - a 9422 and a 9422WMR. Both in immaculate condition and they went for about $1000 apiece. At a guess now I think if mint you might look at $1000-1200 - depending on who's bidding. Reserve at $1000 on trademe?
