    Winchester Lightweight Bolt - Lost

A very good friend of mine is currently a very sad puppy as he has lost the bolt from his pride and joy, a sweet wee Model 70 Lightweight in 243win which I think he has had since new. I understand they are the same actions as the Featherweight so if anyone knows of one or has any suggestions, please let me know.

Hopefully, it may turn up sometime in the future but in the meantime a replacement would be great.
    Thank you.

It's a carbine. Same as mine, for fifteen hundred bucks I'll throw in the rest of the rifle as well. Best I can do. Cheers.

The amount of similar stories is amazing. Best to leave the bolts where they are least likely to be lost. In the action.

Cripes - just imagine the result if this Winny bolt "goes feral" and mates with all the Tikka ones out there, hybrid vigor and all that, we'll be doomed!

    (sorry OP, couldn't resist)

Actually it might pay to have a chat with Greg at Custom Guns, he has a few actions stashed away . . . .

Yes, it’s happened at some point in the transition to a vehicle.
