    Winchester M70 question.

I have a featherweight XTR in 243 with a good timney trigger in it
Is it possible to drop that trigger into another Winchester M70 but in 270?

Should go. Only the most recent models have a different trigger.

80s vintage have an awesome adjustable trigger from factory...TIMNEYS are good but you will gain nothing...you can take factory trigger down to stupidly light and it will still be safe....all you need is too wee spanners...even two shifters will work.....

But not too stupidly light. Safety doesnt work properly.
Mate did it on his 243.
Have a funny feeling it didnt pass my bump (driving the butt hard down on something solid several times) test either.
