Thread: Would you want a 16" 50bmg?

Just watched this review of Noreen ULR 50 BMG Mini Rifle. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BCdtqBcNAo8 I don't know if I'm getting old or something but ther eis nothing about this that appeals at all, in fact I feel a headache coming on just watching it. Anyone inspired to go out and buy one after watching this?

Why turns an expensive to run extreme long range cannon
Into an extremely pointless expensive toy
Way better off with the long barrel

Looks totally impractical, what possible use would that have other than for giving you a concussion and wasting a lot of money on ammo.

However I have always though the GM6 Lynx looked kinda awesome.
Not sure what I'd want one for, maybe just for over killing goats?

Yeah it blew bark off a Manuka tree about 2 meters away on firing away..shot a couple of deer with it.
Iirc it was 16 inch
Certainly not my cup of tea now.

Id have one.
But Id buy the full length one first.

But Id also be keen on something in 20mm for the shoulder.

Fun toys. Not so much a hunting tool.... Humane though.
