not everyone buys a scope and keeps it forever, especially if your getting into something different you don't know, like longrange or whatever .. . the only way to try it to see if its a good fit for you is to buy it, sometimes you get it wrong and have to sell it to buy the next, hopefully this one ticks all the boxes. Sometimes you just want to upgrade . . . If its marked your not going to loose a few bucks, it will be hundreds of dollars, even with mint scopes the seller takes a massive hit if he's the original owner. Camo tape pays for itself 10 times over.
