    WTF

I just got my dud pair of Leica Geovid HD-B Binoculars back (after an absence of some 10 & 1/2 weeks) and was checking through the menu of the new firmware that was installed in the Leica factory in Portugal, and in the SID (Sight In Distance) feature, it give three options in Meters and in Yards.

The first sight in distance for the yards and meters said 100, the second option said 200, the third option, for yards said 300, however, the third option for meters said GEE, which was exactly what I said when I saw it also! Knowing that this was a bug in the newly installed firmware, I checked the instruction manual (page 42) to see what it 'should' be saying, and it says 'GEE' meters!

Is there such a measurement, or is 'GEE' what these German / Portuguese ('foreign') people think we (English speaking humans) say for 300, I mean, do I select GEE if I want my sight in distance to be 300 meters or what?
