For you guys wanting a 338

338's seem to be flavor of the month at the mo, few guys wanting a hunting rifle that's a little bigger & gruntier. He's something to get em juiced up hahaha

I'd just mounted my VX6 in some new 34mm Tier One rings I got off Alonzo so with the weather on Saturday being primo, ended up going out with Muzza to his oldies farm to check it's zero. Slight L-R wind, Checked at a hundy then out to 200 yards fired one shot was low & left, adjusted and fired two more ( I know this thing shoots so two shots is enough, just to make sure )

Two rounds through one hole @200y Yeah sorted, Chur

338 edge built by Terminator Products lol, 300 Berger Elite Hunters with 95g 2225 at 2835fps, not bad for a fairly lightweight hunting rifle 9.6lb.

    Shot a few beasties with it this year- Chammie @ 550y Tahr @ 630 & 640y & cleaned up these four Redskins in under two mintues @ 120, 200, 440 & 450y

    4-24 x 52, quite a nice scope, very good glass & reticle ( TMOA ) It's a big sucker though & it's 34mm tube is a bit of a pain in the arse

Yeah it is a bit ugly but it works, for some reason that scope suffers terrible sun strike with out it.

Fucking hell, is that barrel about 5ft long or is the photo distorted? (Based on normal human size......)

    Nice shooting though.

No the barrell is not that long, Phillipo is just that vertically challenged.

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
