Youth setup - what is out there

I'm considering a setup to upgrade my 6 year from his daisy to something a little bigger that he can also potentially use on goats once he has proven himself. Not much worried about what caliber and it will most likely be a 223. But what youth stocks or chassis is out there with a short LOP and even better with a short LOP that can easily be adjusted to be longer?

howa mini in a chassis? biggest thing i found was the distance from grip to trigger for little hands

Will most likely be a howa mini action yes, but think Ruger also manufactures a short LOP rifle. The most likely solution would be a chassis, just which one.

I picked up a short LOP youth stock for a model 7 off here a few weeks back.

I plan to use it on my m7 223 to begin with then as the kids are ready to step up onto the 243.

Howa Mini 6.5 Grendel very very mild recoil!

Paired with the reasonably priced EXCL Chassis, it is marginally lighter than the Synthetic Stock, and ticks the box in regards to Pistol Grip and Adjustable Stock.

We had a look at those stocks for my missus and found the lop very much the same with the stock collapsed as the factory stock , as the pistol grip being upright tends to pull your wrist further forward , compared to the original , if that makes sense .
Basically try one first for size before committing if thinking this route as it may still be a little long.
