Thread: Yukon 3x60 NV scope

Picked up a NV Yukon Sentinel with additional Pulsar IR Flashlight from a mate that has had little use for a price i couldn't say no too! seriously couldn't say no, I've used it on a 300Black out set up and yes his new thermal scope is nice this was still a good scope!

I see on the website that its rated up to 3700 Joules of energy or up to .308 cal. However it looks like that i may be on the cusp with some of my loads esp over 155 gr in .308 OR my 25/06 in 100r scirocco, Question being my .308 has a gun works Maximus suppressor, will that dissipate or allow me to use the scope without fear of buggering it up? the 25/06 has the normal suppressor Robbie makes. They both have muzzle breaks I'm just wondering if the extra weight of the cans would just help soak up some of the energy????
