Z8 is the best hunting scope for NZ conditions I believe. If you can afford one, just buy it they are incredible.

The NX8 is my next purchase (2-20) but they have their limitations.

why not tell everyone the rrp? It was the OP that was asking about them.
    Are you a nightforce dealer?

I got a couple of Nightforce NXS and Scwaranovvssski Z8i's the Z8i to my eyes is clearer.

Have a Z8i 1-8 I would sell for the right price if you are interested.

The nxs is old but very good technology.
Comparing an nx8 and the z8i is more apples and apples.
The night force mantra is rugged reliable and repeatable.
There is a cost to that of weight but if your sliding down a scree slope out of control on your first day of a 10 day trip and land on your optic I know what I would rather have.

Ive got Schmidt & Bender PMII's Z8i is as clear great glass.

Also compared my Elcan Spectre to the Z8 the Z8 is top notch that's why I got two and use them more than the Nightforce I personally was disappointed by the glass in my NF.

    Just my opinion.

As I said the nx8 line and atacr are a major step up in glass from the nsx
There is a reason most western special forces are running nightforce as are the special forces here.

I would suggest you have not been looking at real special forces or are you ex SAS or SBS I think your a salesman perchance

The US Marines are also Schmidt and Bender.

Both of my Nightforce scopes purchased in the USA have a wee sticker on the bottom made in Japan.

European glass is the best in the world allegedly

    Correct.

British SAS use Schmidt and Bender.
NZ SAS were using Schmidt and Bender when I met a patrol of them at J shed doing Corp fam.
