I've got a 7 mm mag one with a plastic stock.Shoots very well. Paid 500 for it but magnums always seem to be cheaper.

If a shooter from the states can chime in...I just purchased a Zastava 7.62x39. Problems right out of the box. difficulty in closing the bolt on some rounds, sometimes extreme difficulty in opening and on occasion a couple three failures to extract. The main problems were that out of the first 50 or so rounds fired only about 30 went bang on the first try, recocking the bolt (Double tap) and firing the second time would cause it to fire. I Had about 3-4 where 4-5 taps never did fire. (Did in a differant rifle)
I thought at first that it was an ammo problem so I gathered differant military surpllus as well as civilian ammo and same problem existed. I sent the rifle back for repairs which I have as yet to get back. (I was told 6-8 weeks) All in all I rate this particular Zastava a POS.
Out of frustration I purchased a CZ 527 in 7.62x39 and what a great, smooth rifle plus it comes with a single set trigger. If and when I get the Zastava back it's up for sale.
If I may add I love this round for a couple of reasons. It's cheap to shoot. It's accurate. It's a mid range round for medium size game and if push comes to shove I can and have reloaded the surplus steel cases if I can't find brass.
Thanks for allowing my input. This is a great forum.
