Thread: ZEISS Conquest V4 1-4x24

Interested in one of these with an illuminated reticle.
Has anybody experience of them.
Worth the money or better options.

I’ve had a look at the V6 1.1-6 and it’s beautiful. The illumination was excellent, with a nice intuitive adjustment. If the V4 is anything like that, I’d be very happy with one.

In fact I would buy one, but 30mm rings for a BSA dovetail basically don’t exist....

what size Dovetail - I have a pair in 30 on 11mm

Ive not had a zeiss 1-4, but had a kahles 1-4 and found the x4 end of the zoom a little underwhelming (in terms of magnification) given the size and bulk of the scope. A light weight compact 1-4 is absolutely fine, but the 30mm heafty version did not make sense once i had it on the rifle and carried it around. Now have a vx6 1-6 which is lighter than the kahles and the 6x is big step up.

Hi @Sarvo it’s a 19mm dovetail on those. Thanks for the thought though!

You can get 30mm rings for the Brno's with a 19mm dovetail (I recently sold a set), would probably work if you cut/grind off the recoil lug.
