    Zeiss hd5 issues

Got home from a hunt last night and noticed the zero marker or hash mark for the elevation turret is floating and you can move the thing around in fact it will spin around with the turret itself?.
Haven't had a good look as it was late but pretty pissed. Anyone seen this?

    Yea tat get turrets
Dunno if I explained 8t very well. So the stationary part attached to the scope tube that has your zero mark and horizontal hash marks can rotate around with the dialing nob.

thats a bummer. i've got the same scope and luckily haven't had your issue... was there a noticeable time at which it started rotating - what caused it?

i know its not ideal but it looks like you could limp through the roar and deal with it afterwards - as the rotating cuff you are having the issue with is just marking the centre of the tube it might not be that hard to find the centre by looking down the length of the scope and hold it in place and shift the top dial with the other hand? of course this is far from ideal, but i bet you've spent a fair bit of time sorting your rifle to dial to longer ranges with that specific scope

Have you smashed a mirror or eaten beef lately or something to piss some kind of God off? You haven't been having a good run of it lately.

Only scope I can offer you to borrow is a vortex strike eagle unfortunately

If it's only the indicator sleeve that's turning, surely you can put a drop of epoxy or something in it to hold it in place? The turrets themselves appear to be fine.

I know what your saying and sure I could do that. But I shouldn't have too and it would also probably void the warranty.
