I think I would stull buy them. Ive had mine for years and years now and they are still going strong. I think I would take the gamble again.

I bought vortex and kept my ED2's for visitors.
I have the ED3's and touch wood they have been great also have a set of Yukon Point Roof prism's which are damn good as well ( at Brian's @Tahr if you need some spares.)
Just buy some swaro's and live happy ever after.... no super glue required.
I wish I had stories of exceptional performance like some of the people who have posted in this thread. I took a gamble with Zen Ray and it’s been an expensive learning curve that I just can’t be bothered with anymore.
I’ve placed a capex request with the Minister of Finance for a new set of Leica, Swaro, or Ziess and hope that’s the end of my optics dramas.
Yeah, every product known to man fails but it's getting the basics right and keeping percentage of failures low that counts... My zen rays also fell to pieces.
Zeiss conquest 10x42HDs from Jacobs digital doing them for $1534 at the moment, thats a steal from a NZ retailer in my books.
