Probably slighlty off but had problems with my VX3 scope. Micky Duck made the suggestion to electrical tape the turrets. They sport lovely red trim and back to head and neck shooting. Used to lose*my rag when I missed a deer and I knew why. Once I had it spot on took the IPhone out and foto'ed the settings for both turrets.

Anything leupold is widely vilified as unable to hold zero at all on Rokslide. It would be really interesting to see some data.

I don't shoot paper very often but my vx1 3-9 has been sitting on my rifle for about 20 years. Can't remember when I last actually adjusted it. Anything I've missed has been shooter error because I try and blame the scope but when I check it on the range it's bang on the same spot it was set to.

There is ALWAYS a story behind the story.......who are their sponsors etc, etc

Having had personal experience over the years with Ryan Avery & a couple of his mates/cohorts, I can tell you they aren't among the straightest dies in the shop

Rokslide seem like a bunch of miserable asses, everything I've ever read there seems like a bunch of old whiners who hate everything but the one specific system or thing they use. I've well given up trying to get useful info out of there.

Why? My sons VX3I has Leupold rings. But it appears it is not zeroed. Resighting this morning. Might have to get MD rings ... electrical tape. Gotta say that has worked on my scope of same model. My mate runs Burris and he is on a farm. He says he never resights his gun. His last Burris before it fogged went over 20 years without resighting.
