European companies seem to view warrenty serice/repairs differently
Just remember the CGA applies between the End user (providing that they are not a "businessl" or using the "whatever it" is commercially) and the RETAILER who sold it.
The distributor or importer has ZERO to do with it.
They may choose to compensate, repair or replace the "whatever it is" their Dealer/Retailer but they do not have to (it would be unusual not too but I have seen cases where retailer incompetence has caused the problem rather than an actual fault with the "whatever".
It seems that most NZ retailers do not understand their responsibilities or will try to "install their slopey shoulders" and blame the manufacturer/Distributor or importer or just flee.
