    ZP1 rear monopod

Just had a look at these, might try one. Anyone had any experience with them?

Replaces the recoil pad with a pop out rear monopod leg.

I seen these kept coming up on my Facebook. I'm highly skeptical and think the could cause all sorts of issues depending on your accuracy expectations.
Might be completely wrong though ?

they look to be a good concept. I have a acu-shot monopod, which I sued for a while, but its not flexible enough for height adjustment. This one with hydraulic dampening might actually work.

One of the guys I know is using one. Loves it. I'm sceptical. If I'm at the range I've got the time pull out a couple of sandbags... personally can't see them being an advantage in the bush

Great concept but I tried a monopod for a while in Bush, found it felt good for the shot but was sometimes a false feeling as not that stable to manage recoil, went back to using my Jersey

I’ve been using a acu-shot monopod on my rem 300 wm for a few years now and it works great on any shot and is quicker to use than a bag. But it does need to lock up solid. This one looks like a better design and I would be keen to get one if you can lock it at different heights

I was using the accu-shot monopod for varmint rig and really liked it for long range bunny busting.
