Thread: 10 days in Paradise (North Tikotatahi, Stewart Island)

Hey lads, back from our trip to North Tiko, absolutely epic trip!

Here's just a few pics for you until i can write up a report and edit up all the video footage.

Had some pretty shitty weather, 50 knot winds, cold and rain/hail most days, but it would need to be a lot worse than that to dampen the spirits in a place like that Wink

Was the first time hunting whitetail for all 7 of us, only 7 deer were seen, a few others were spooked but not seen. We shot 4, 2 of which i got (yearling does) so was bloody stoked.

Mature animals were pretty elusive with only 2 mature does seen and no bucks were seen (even on trail cams).

Daily feeds of paua, blue cod, trumpeter and butterfish were awesome, didnt get onto any 'legal' size crays, very few and far between.

Heaps of wildlife seen.
