Cheers for the comments guys, makes the 6 or so hours of pissing around with it worthwhile.

Hope you didn't mind the elec/dub music...not something I listen to normally, but a lot of footage either had wind noise, or shit banter, so muting the footage and playing it to music sorts that problem.

I really only edit it all up for myself, so I have all my random pieces of video condensed into something watchable. But sharing's caring right...

It's not until I watch it that I realise there are a heap of photos and good footage I've forgotten to put in! May have to re-edit it later. Doh.

I'll just add this bit in here too...

As most of you know, I love taking people hunting, and try to pass on some decent hunting ethics.

My 12 I got pre-roar, is definitely a highlight from my season. I am gutted I don't have more photos, my camera got crushed in my pack and crapped out. Just a bugger Jamie missed out on having a crack at them when he was down. But to go back a week after us first seeing those stags and get back onto them was pretty awesome.

It was also a great experience to get Tony and Glenn their 12 point stags this year, Tony's was his first deer, and on my advice passed up several smaller stags before getting his character 12.

Glenn's 12 was an epic hunt, I'd been promising him a crack at a decent stag for a long time, and we'd hardly seen one worth shooting on past trips. To eventually get onto a decent stag in the bush like that, especially in a place not known for decent heads, was pretty choice.

I was also involved with getting another mate his first 12 point stag a couple of weeks ago, but have no footage as it was pissing down with rain. It was also his first deer.

I chose not to shoot a fallow buck this year, as last year I got a ok representative. The best buck in this footage really needs another 2 years, if someone else doesn't shoot him early.

Every year I reckon the quality of stags/bucks being seen and shot on our public land is getting better and better. In my opinion there's no better time that now to be getting into hunting, with a bit of effort it's not hard to find animals.

I wouldn't know how many animals I looked over this roar, but I'd make a guess at somewhere between 200-400 animals. Keep in mind too that over 90% of my hunting is on public land!

If any of you guys are coming down from up north, feel free to hit me up. I'm always keen to go hunting and don't mind taking sensible and mature people who can keep their mouths shut out for a look.
