    1st Kaimai Deer

    Well I haven't been out for a hunt since my last deer. More than a few weeks ago now, Been super busy in the shed, Tidying up jobs and projects.
    Also got t-boned at an intersection in my car the other week, Shit happens. Sorted a car for during the week but no weekend transport.
    Anyway after a hard day at work yesterday I decided last night I was going hunting. Got hold of Rusky to see what he was up to, Then got hold of a mate to see if he wanted to go = free ride to the bush haha.

    We headed to the kaimais about half one, Got to the top by 2.30pm Then went bush from there. Only an hour into it, We found some fresh sign and slowed rite down. Wind in face, Following a game trail, A red hind come trotting towards me, Seen me, Hit the picks, Looked at me just long enough to raise the rifle close the bolt and squeeze off a round into her neck. She dropped on the spot, Clean kill. Gutted her, Made her into a pack and carried out. Meet up with Rusky on way out to, Was an awesome afternoon out.
