    2nd Adventure into Doubtful Sound.

My first ever experience of Doubtful Sound was when i was at Primary school and whilst i can remember some of the goings on most of the trip back then is vague.

When i was called by a mate to do a trip in this year i was hesitant as i have just brought a business and still was unsure how things were going to pan out but caution was thrown to the wind and a "Yes" was given.
Here's a few pics of the trip, mostly scenery but still a good idea of whats what if you've never been.

    beautiful scenery. Living the dream.
Is there a story to the fuel filling? There are no petrol stations between Waikaia and Lawrence as we found out and coasted to the pump when we got there

Yeah there was, We left on Skips say so but either he forgot to tell us or no one was listening but we needed to put some diesel in the vehicle before we departed, 200m from the summit and she ran dry on the big climb to it. 3 beers later we were away again. lol

You're 9th photo down, the cray fishermen's camp - I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that when I was there. Helipad around the other side? Or am I confusing the hut with one elsewhere? Is the photo of the chiller and chopper the same location? Same sullen weather as I remember.
