@Flyblown have you validated the G7 bc of the 108eldm? Is it correct?

Very nice, thanks for sharing! I have the same experience as you with my 6XC. These 6mm are surprisingly nice to shoot & effective.
Zero at 100m, drop tests at 270, 345 and 475m. All calculations had the same answer, same as the chronograph. So yeah, it’s correct. So far, dialling MRAD, it’s been bang on out to 500ish.Quote:

I understand completely what you saying about the .223 for surgical precision...after some 22 years using mine it has become like a best most trusted mate.... the .270 Ive owned longer and each has its place...but if I had to hit say a clay target at 200yards.the .223 would get the nod,the big gun is just as accurate BUT the .223 is trusted more....

Watched a beaut stag this arvo, truly a stunning animal, best I’ve seen for a good while. Would have thought about a shot on a different day but wasn’t the plan, didn’t have the daylight, the tools or the inclination....
