Amaxed at 550meters. Big old hare.

Got the 300winmag dialled in this weekend, culled 20 goats with it at short and long range, almost melted the barrel off knocking over 16 out of a mob and burnt my hand on the suppressor. Nailed some peacocks and assorted other varmints, couple magpies at 350 and rabbits and hares further out but shot of the arvo today goes to the old man with this hare at 550 meters. Cracking shooting.

I missed one at 680 by a whisker. Maybe next weekend I'll get him.

Well done. There is no such thing as over kill.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

Anything other than overkill is underperformance.

Huk we should be able to hit some tahr with it if he can hit a hare at that bloody range
