    That is in great condition.
    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded

    You have been using the butt as a walking stick.That's an animal in good condition for this time of year. Good grass, Any crops in the area???.

    Dog looks pleased with itself as mine always do. After the important 'find' they change attitude quite quickly to 'you are damned lucky you came hunting with us tonight'.

    95% walking stick, 5% rifle.
    Just grass. DOC reserve bounded by farms.

    She is usually quite keen, although I have noticed that fitness is important. If she is not so fit she seems to lose her edge a bit. And the heat takes the edge off her too. But she has never refused to look.
    I have found that if she is not keen when I get to where a dead or alive deer should be, and I have to push her, there just simply isn't anything for her to wind or smell. That usually means a clean miss by me
