    Another Pre roar story

With the fine weather we had over the weekend before last i managed to sneak off and fit in a quick weekend hunt with a mate up Gisborne way, the weather was good however still quite warm. We didn't manage any stags due to a bastard swirling wind and they were only just starting to get going with most shutting up before daybreak unfortunately, saw a few decent young stags which we left to hopefully turn into something decent if they make it through.

Managed this poor skinny spiker for a feed and surprisingly he actually tasted ok for being so skinny, all in all a great trip with great company and even managed to pick up a hitch hiker on the way out

Quite a few species here, just not as common as other places in the world
