You are watching my midlife crisis. Found it was time to try some new forms of hunting, last 16 years have been forestry roe, so time for a little scenery change.

If you're a midget, I'm sure the Argo is nice. Myself, I sit with the knees under the chin hard enough to play castanets with my teeth. But considering that we are recovering 3 deer at 5 mph, it certainly beats a full walk.
No, not working. I was there as a paying guest but they did ask if I wanted spend some time as an extra hand (without pay) so I'm going to see if I can get time off from no 1 job to do that. I really liked walking those hills.

No, he is brilliant. I asked to be put under tuition and he did. They take 1200-1500 deer each year, so can't afford to be inefficient.

He might be. But it sounded patronising.
I thought that you were pretty damn quick given that the deer moved off. Maybe head shooting the first one might have helped?

Patronising? No, he was embarassed to say it. I had to cut where I did due all the traditional scottish swearing.

Another NZ trip? Wouldn't mind, but its 33hrs flying and NZ$ 4000 ticket last I checked...
