Thread: Australian Sambar Hunt

Nice looking area to hunt, been chasing a large sambar stag myself, they aren't easy I suppose that's why they get big. Good story only makes you want to go back again.

Thanks Mooseman I will hopefully be back in late March for the fallow rut on another property next year and maybe spend another few days in the bush chasing the Sambar.

The big boys are very switched on and cunning, around that area a lot of mid to high 20's get shot every year but a few true 30 inch stags get taken
