    Awesome outing yet No Joy

Sunday was a lovely sunny day after a wet n cold bit of snap down opur way.. Plans made and left home at 5am. Before I left that morning I took some snaps of the frost on my car. While driving I knew, black ice would have definitely formed on the Rimutaka hill. I drove slowly from the starting of the hill. I had never seen or experienced this before.. Half way up on a bend, i was like holy shit.. the ute slipped but the slow speed and gud tyre grips saved any misfortunes..

Very slowly I crossed down to the other end and was back on track to where I was heading..

Arrived at it was getting light. Was really a beautiful morning. I drove the track right to the peak. I noticed the water puddles had thin layers of ice formed.

I glassed for quite sometime with the light hitting the clearings than walked down to do some bush stalking. Wind was in face and found very fresh signs too.. as usual just got close enough to see the shit and wonder when will I get to see the arse that did tat shit..lol

Had to get back by mid day so called it off and headed back home..

    Some snaps of the day:

You certainly put in the effort mate. Keep it up and you'll be chewing on a tasty backstrap before you know it. If I was a deer i wouldnt get up till it thawed

Good work. Keep it up and you will be rewarded.
