Back to the Coast

It had been a couple of years since I had been hunting over the coast so myself and 2 mates headed over.We had 4 days of great weather,unfortunately the animal numbers were low and there was no snow to push what we did see down.Only one animal shot by my mate,a 12" bull.No pics of that sorry,he dosent use a camera.Might be the age thing,but I enjoyed this trip even more and wo't be leaving very long till the next one over.
Anyhow I'll let the pics do the rest of the talking.

No was out side the tahr blocks.They just weren't their.My mate organised it and I was just happy to see new country.

Climbing back up that moraine wall at the end of the day is mint ay;) espescially after a few to many beers and most of a bottle of tullamore the night before:oh noes:

We South Islanders need to remember only to put up photos of Shit country, snow & ice, and if we ever see one of the deer that's meant to be in the S.I. definitely don't put a photo up of it... We don't want 2 many Nth Islanders coming down & shooting the 1 or 2 animals left... :p:D:eek:
