    One thing to watch for is once the pain meds kick in, she might be tempted to leap about a bit which can cause a reoccurrence of the back problems. I know when my girl had her first cruciate ligament done, if I got up quick to go outside she would try to follow just as fast. It's hard to keep a good dog down
