    Birth day trip

    Towards the end of January I headed off to north Taranaki my freezer was getting low needed to try and get some meat.The weather ended being unusually good for me

    Back at the wool shed skin off then take the sides off then into a chilly bin with it.It was hot the flies were bad

    Tea on the first night goat mince bbq patties spuds and tomatoes from my garden it was a good meal the next 2 nights were pork chops shot not far from were I was eating it.Ended up shooting 8 good eaters and 1 for dog food

    Back at home took the leg bones out 10 sides they will be rolled roasts the rest for casserole

    and in true pig hunting fashion it is boned with a pig sticker lol, IMO the only good thing for goats is pig bait and dog tucker,

    Good stuff though. BTW top 2 pics didnt work

    A lot of the worlds meat eaters would disagree with you there HNTMAD....

    Goat meat is underrated in new Zealand they make good mince ,sausages, salamis. Get the bigger back legs made into ham awesome chops and outstanding rolled roasts kid goats filled with home made mint stuffing then wrapped in bacon very good eating
