    Faerie Queene got the treatment by the first party...I suspect that's were the solid 10 came from along with a number of hinds taken.

    A bloke from the first party said to us not to bother with that area ..so given that and the way the remaining animals reacted to a gun shot ..I'm picking the folks from the first party did their duty and shot what the could.

    Haha that is classic, I actually thought of you twice on this trip and the first time was exactly this.....

    I remembered your story from a year or two back and as I was heavily laden at the time I thought if i went in one I may never be seen again.

    This had me prodding at them with my walking poles and treating them with the upmost respect

    Personally I never heard a stag roar !!
