    Bonus pigs

    Like most people my roar plans were a wash out so i went to plan b i headed off to north taranaki got to my camp set up had a cuppa then headed out with the dogs after a bit of a walk the dogs were showing interest at a gully sure enough there was a small mob of goats 2 shots 2 goats of to a great start except the camera was still in the jimny .Removed the legs for dog food put them in the day pack and headed back to camp .At camp i put tea on small lamb roast which i cut in half to have over 2 nights turned out great in the camp oven with roast spudsName:  P4190242.jpg

Size:  1.26 MBback to camp sort the meat out went out again to aspot close to my camp shot a nice eater back to camp hang the young nanny up got tea on .Then one of the local farmers stopped in in asked if i was keen for a spotlight had pigs comeing out into his paddocks doing some damage he had being trying to cath them but had being giveing him the slip he told me to meet him down the road and he would show me the boundaries .Meet him there showed me he said his son was comeing with his pig dogs to have a go first he said still come for a look any way back to camp got tea on couple of hours later his son turned up they had just caught 3 50 pounders and gave one to me awesome i thought. The young lad said still come down for a spotlight i said okay had tea went to bed early .Got up just after 2 the next morning went down parked the jimny were the owner told me too walked down to were i needed to go turned the light on sure enough another pig was out rooting the paddock up the little bugger came running towards me lined him up shot him between the eyes dropped on the spot gutted it turned out to be a little boar hung him over a fence went back and got my jimny big picked up the little boar back to camp hung it up beside the other 1 had a clean up and back to bed .Up the next morning deal with the animals cut them up and into the chilly bin Name:  P4200261.jpg

Size:  758.1 KB headed out for one more hunt friday shot another 2 goats to eat back to camp for aclean up and sort out tea bed up the next mornig load up and head home

    Great trip. Well done and thanks for posting.
    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
