Awesome VC. Fantastic fun sharing a pastime with your kid. No doubt the beginning of a long adventure together.
PS. Also has the advantage of getting away with going hunting and fishing all the time because "the boy wants to".

That's what it's all about. The rabbit sure is a great way to start your hunting carrier. I also remember my first one....shot with a BSA Meteor at about 20 yards. Well Done both of you.
Ha ha yes I hope so!
He is more of a townie type kid but its not his fault that is where we live, I try not to push him too hard on coming hunting/fishing just because it is what I am into. I just try to make sure every time he does come he enjoys himself.(MacDonalds or a ice-cream on the way home is a goody ;) )
Good on ya- make sure you don't lose the photos of the youngster . .
How did Mackkers cook the rabbit, last time I went in with one they got quite shitty . . . .
Nice one. What make of rifle is that?
Looks to be a CZ

Yep its a JW15 copy of a cz stock and barrel shortened ......it is an earlyish one with wooden stock and shoots very very well (for a cheap 22= to the brand new CZ in the safe)with ammo it likes and okish with most everything.
This sort of story really hits home....my own son got his first roo around the same age and he still talks about it today, decades later.
Excellent stuff.
Had butter chicken rabbit for tea last night.
