bad enough that the road toll is rising faster than a manchester St hookers skirt-there'll be all the usual lip service to that, from the uniforms with budgies shit on shoulders, but firearms -jesus wept this is caviar for the back room machinators at police HQ who want FAL their way!

Sadly that's usually code for self inflicted.

Exactly, suicide so no need to jump the gun on what this means for firearms laws.

ah yeah right there old boy-so why did a bloody VO ask me straight out if i had suicidal tendencies and intimated id use a firearm in the course of a 2hr interview to renew my license.
dont pull my tit and say police HQ aint aware of the fact
ive been closely involved in two recently ,so suicide by any means aint exactly a stranger to me ,in fact i regard it as a hazard of my trade!

Mental health nurse I believe, not a job I would ever want or be able to do. I'm very glad that others are stronger and motivated to do it-hats off to them.

you got it right and Ive had 44yrs of it. nothing gentlemen ,absolutely fucking nothing shapes ones view of so called civilised human beings ,than working in the murky darklands of the human psyche.
to put it bluntly-im really adamant that we are the dumbest of all mammals and whats more a lot are actually arseholes in the vertical plane.
our greatest malfeasance is to take shit and reassemble it to sound like commonsense!we actually entrust idiots to use this process to make pointless regulations to cover situations mother nature does so simply.
to those who proclaim they have problems reading my epistles-its simple -dont read the fuckin thing OK -no skin off my nose
