    BRING BACK BUCK

So the red roar is over, the first mild frosts down country on the Canty plains have arrived & now the sun is quicky racing for the cold winter solstice .That time of the year when a man throws another log on the fire, slouches in the lazy- boy and veges out reading a rollicking good yarn. And that's where @ bullshit bungi comes into it.I,m Wondering if it isnt time for the forum folk to extend a warm welcome back to ol mate. After all ,it's going to be more scrolling past jokers flogging 1/2 boxes of SST's,and endless months of polys pre election lies.I,ll set up the chant, but I,m not suggesting a limited 'bring back' print run of black tee shirts. For newer
Members to the forum Bullshit Bungi was the great white hunter who unbelievably could haul out an eater Moose, trophy Sambar, cull Sika for a quick morning hunt from the deep latitudes of fjiordland no less, then a quick cast for a stripped Marlin & Mahi Mahi for the bbq on the run home from his legendary waka.Anyone wanna join the bandwagon?

I for one liked your spiel, maybe you can carry the can for now?

Until one shows up with yarn that’s almost impossible to believe but possible to read.

One of our local sleuths did an internet search of his many photos contained within his incredible yarns, and found out that the photos were from other stories from over many years out there in internet land and were not of his taking.

When he was confronted with this fact, he simply vanished.

Don't know that you're talking about Laurie's Hut.

What I do know, is that after hours of internet sleuthing, comparing language, grammatical and posting habits, I may have tracked him down. This post may or may not be the real deal Bunji, headin' upriver on his latest hunting adventure:

A pity this matter can't be resolved?

We / most of us have met individuals who consistently for some reason don't tell the truth?
However in life sometimes what is......Is sometimes is exactly the opposite?
Perhaps Bunji and Brindog will come forward and explain some of there statements? Obviously they will be known out there to someone who may desribe their hunting CVs on there behalf ?

So for the internet detectives on here how many others on here have very poor or questionable hunting CVs ?

There is nothing to resolve mate, Bunji just disappeared and faded to black. He sure could spin a yarn, and I do wonder if he's back wearing a different hat since there are the odd fellow ( and I'm a somewhat odd fellow), who seems to have an answer for everything and anything. Might just be googling it, but I do wonder.
Oh and Lauries hut, you got caught out like me the first time I saw it, Yeah_Na_Missed has "Bunji likes this" as his signature

Bunji was culling in Fjordland with a Snider Rifle when he forgot to turn the headlights off in his Hughs 500,despite the flat battety he pull started the helicoper with a bootlace.

Even though he was wearing Crocs

I thought he actually started said helicopter with a model A Ford crank handle. He was suspended over top of the blades so the crank handle could work from above.
His stories sure were entertaining. The production line he had going to make the small goods was impressive.

Some think his little porkys were harmless I am of the other camp though, he often would palm off advice googled from the web as his own personal experience (load data etc) this is irresponsible and potentially dangerous, not to mention he was stealing other peoples images and passing them off as his own.
He lead on Members here with the offer of trips etc.
He deliberately set out to deceive folks on here, I have met a few compulsive liars in my time and it's not something I haven't got a lot of time for. Some lie for attention, some lie to impress and some lie for gain....to me it doesn't matter B.S is still B.S even with a little sugar sprinkled on top.
If he came back and wanted to start a fresh I wouldn't have an issue with it, but personally I would not be inclined to believe anything he said. Call me old fashioned but I fell honesty is important as they say "a man is only as good as his word"
