What a great result you must be happy with the 6.5 PRC and those Hammer bullets. The people you supply the meat to are real lucky long may it last. You were right it looked pretty wet there.

At nearly 74 I feel privileged to still have my health @Pengy. I do a weights routine with 2x4kg dumb bells every day for my upper body and rely on the walking for my legs and aerobics. Drugs go into my tea - blood pressure, anti-gout and anti-flams. Life is good.

Yes its a great combo and accurate. 3-12 Zeiss on it. The M18 are a bit heavy but Senator are making me a carbon stock for it.

The Hammers work well but are a bit spendy. Mainly the freight from the States

Nice going Tahr. I hope next time you take gumboots instead of ya hunting boots, that looks very swampy.
I think Craig is just annoyed he didn't get an invite to the bomb up. Although I'm sure he will be getting a bit of the spoils

@Sideshow I take off the silver skin from all of the steak cuts. Remove the glands (like that fatty one between the topside and silverside) and give it all a tidy up. I leave any gristle that will cook down to collagen in stews and casseroles.

I think that when we are giving meat away we should make it as oven ready as possible, 'cos most people don't know how to handle it and are then left with a bad impression about venison.

Ive shot 52 deer this year and almost all of it has gone to "causes". The meat prep takes a lot of time.

Thanks @Tahr thought as much from the picks you have shown.
Bit easyer here as we just drop off at the game dealer and they take care of the rest.
NZ you have the anvantage of dropping the skin and bone.
Farmer here wants the lot taken so the process is a lot more involved.
Small home etc I need to think of getting rid of the waste.

Count from me is 22 this year. They just keep on coming.
