    Close Encounter

    Finally got my arse off the farm.

    About half a km towards the tops I spotted two blaze blue figures.
    Climbing through the bush to get there.

    On arrival I was greeted by another forumite @grunter and his two young lads.
    Had a chin wag then I carried on for a few more hours.
    Found a lot of trees stripped up further.

    Coming around a clearing was a nice yearling at 6 metres away it was grazing on the scrub a matter of seconds and it was gone into the thick stuff.

    Closest I have ever been to a wild live deer.
    Good hike nice to see you again @grunter and @GWH will be joining them tonight.

    Shit happens when you run a small farm with no staff. I enjoyed the leg work anyway

    Nice one. I got within 4 metres of 2 hinds and a yearling yesterday beded down. Gets personal when your that close.
