Thread: Day Of The Chamios

Well after not been out for awhile an adam not getting away in the week for the planned trip he had with smiddy, we decided to head out to try an get a head skin for him.
A time was set an what wagon we would take etc etc, after waking up bit permaturely a few times in the night, 5.30 finally rolled around an all i wanted to do was SLEEP!!!

After getting up an loading up, feeling pretty shit an hung over from having the inlaws etc around for tea an me having a few to many to drone it out
Got some luch from BP on the way to pickk up the angry bob from his sleep over.....................................

Away we went driving up an if you ask baldbob he will tell you i am on my learners licnce????

Parked up an loaded up an started to head up the way we wanted to go, talking alot of smack on the way a pissing around having a nice sunday stroll, got to where the creek come in a little an the rock hopping started. Bothing doing well avoiding wet feet.......for a while, after one more perv on the country an few nice looking side creeks that could have been options, we where away again



With my having caught baldbob bug an had to left feet for awhile an ended up with my guts lying over a rock after a wee slip up
The time came when we had no choice but to dive into the cold looking water an it was fresh to say the least, the creek had closed right in an we hod to climb around some little gourges when i say climb was around rocks going through/up the creek.

We came to another spot after ne getting wet .... in a deeper hole an adams shorter legs managing to avoild the shrink, we parked up to have a look an a bite to eat also, when adam has the 'theres one' followed by the 'where.....where' from me to be a false alarm. But then was my turn with theres one hold on tww nope three.....four......five. An the instructions began so he could find them to an then six an seven was added also, we watched them for few minutes play silly buggers running around chasing each other an took some photos of them well tryed to as i only had video camera. we carried on as they where kind of coming down while playing.




This is where we started to have some fun, with the creek getting gourgey again an we decided to push through as it would open instead of the up an around idea, the water felt colder the roucks got slippery an we started to get a little wet from the water coming off the sides also, the day changed fron 'hunting' to canyoning quite fast, an after a few dodgy rock hops an crossings, few near spills an we got to a junction an both had different ideas in what way to go....................after look on gps I was right............................................. .........
