    Early Morning In The Kaimanawas

Have posted a couple of vids on here but thought it may be good to give a short introduction as to who we are. My son Ben and I get out hunting at least once a week all year round, mostly in the central North Island. We mainly hunt Sika but have a few spots where we hunt reds as well and also keep the pig population under control for a couple of farmers. Most of our hunts are morning or evening hunts, the vid link shows one of our typical morning hunts.

Ah, welcome to the forum. Your daughter was MC at my sisters wedding last weekend.

What are you filming your videos with?

    Nice work thanks for posting.

Hi Pointer. Filming with a Canon SX60. Awesome camera, 65 X optical zoom, real handy for this sort of work. Still leaning the editing thing but getting there!

I totally agree with all the other comments, particularly how you took the time to make sure that the hind didn't have a fawn tucked away.( a lesson for others at this time of the year).
Great bit of filming & your editting wasn't too bad either!!!

AND: a bloody good shot mate.
