    Earthquake country

Just back from a few days in some pretty cool country.

Seen a dozen or so deer on monday afternoon before the storm arrived and was lucky enough to be able to get into a position to take one.

Got pretty windy and a bit wet for the next few days after that and no more were seen. Didn't stop us getting out and about and doing our bit for goat control.

Young fella shot his first 1...2...3...4....5... goats and he was/is over the moon.

It was incredible to see the amount of hillside rock that has ended up in the river bed some absolutely massive slips.

Many of the hillsides still have lateral fracture lines which will surely release at some stage or other with either more quakes or large rains.

    Some nice views though....

A great time had by all

Great trip in some real nice country, good to see the young fella into the shooting. I only hope that the opertunities we had are still available for them after this current pack of Government and Police officials have finished stuffing us around.
