    The Eleven

I snuck up on a good eleven point stag a while ago and got some great photos and video; I always wanted to catch up with him in the hard; over the weekend I did... A single shot from the 7mm Rem Mag over 400 yards in the crappy weather and we had him on the ground.

Video tells most of the story...

Shit hot Craig! Very cool to have the photos and video of him in the velvet, then catch up with him again, really adds an extra meaning to the trophy i reckon, great to share with the lad as well. Gotta love the cameras of today eh! And one of my favorite pieces of music too ;-)

    Awesome!

Pretty cool how you had the skill and patience to stalk and film but wait until he was ready. Well earned.

Yep; very happy. Great to have Hamish and James there too. Hunting is so much more than the taking of an animal, it's about (as you know) being out in the environment, sharing great times with mates and pushing yourself to the limits. That day we probably shot pretty close to the limits; I could hardly see through the scope!
    Great times... :-)
